Our Directives

G.R.O.W. Community Care is our Behavioral Health company. We bill Medicaid for individuals that receive (PRP) services.

PRP Coordinators work individually with young people and/or adults. The Coordinator’s often serve as an advocate in the school systems where he/she may need to go and encourage the person that they’re working with to stay on track.

The Coordinator may have certain conflict resolution strategies that they’re working on with the youth. In other instances, there may be a need for the Coordinator to advocate for a young person with a magistrate or in a judicial setting. Also, having a PRP Coordinator is extremely helpful in cases where there is an emergency and a parent isn’t readily available, a young person will have the option of calling his PRP Coordinator to rectify an urgent matter that may arise.

PRP Coordinators help people to live independently or even if they live at home they may need help to identify community resources like food stamps, healthcare, local food banks etc. If basketball is a therapeutic stress reliever for a young person that may have anger issues or just needs structured guidance then the PRP Coordinator would get him/her involved in our basketball programs.

If traumatic circumstances are holding him/her back in school, the PRP Coordinator would schedule special tutors for the young person to work with after therapy sessions. The PRP Coordinator isn’t a mentor, social worker, court advocate, teacher, coach etc. Actually, if it’s necessary - the PRP Coordinator embodies all of those things in a therapeutic way in efforts to help young people/adults to reach their goals.

Many of our clients deal with issues that are relatable and quite common in our communities. Some of our clients deal with anger issues that play out in school and at home. The young person may have consistently been getting in trouble in school and having a tough time with teachers and authority figures. Therapist oftentimes, sees this as oppositional defiance and therapeutic sessions are helpful to find the cause of the anger and seek solutions.
